Modeling acoustic cavitation by a Lagrangian approach

We derive the equations of motion for N spherical and massless bubbles in an incompressible and irrotational liquid. The bubbles' motion is assumed to be at high Reynolds, low Weber number and collisionless. External acoustic driving and viscous dissipation are included. In particular, we focus on the interplay of the nonlinear radial oscillation with the translatory motion of the bubbles.
